Women On The Line
Women on the Line is a thesis project created in 2019 to address the issue of gender-based harassment on public transit. Women’s stories populate a digital archive that is available for anyone to access and contribute to. WomenOnTheLine.com illustrates the complexity of this social issue and highlights overarching themes of discrimination, victimization and community passivity. The motivation behind this project was to give women capacity to name our experiences, and see ourselves as agents of change.
