Women on the Line is a thesis project that addresses the issue of gender-based harassment on public transit. Survivors’ stories populate a digital archive that is available for anyone to access and contribute to. WomenOnTheLine.com illustrates the complexity of this social issue as well as overarching themes of discrimination, victimization and community passivity. The motivation behind this project was to give women and femmes capacity to name our experience and see ourselves as agents of change.
